Nella spettacolare e suggestiva cornice della P.zza I Maggio si aprirà il “sipario” con l’inaugurazione il 2 giugno 2008 e i “quadri fotografici” rimarranno incastonati nell’arredo urbano concedendosi al pubblico visitatore fino al 30 settembre 2008.

Presentazione
Che siano le passionali foto riprese dall'acqua con i mosconi ormeggiati nella
quiete del tramonto o le immagini dell'appassionato lavoro quotidiano dei
nostri pescatori, delle “osservazioni fotografiche” di Antonio Barbieri ammiro
il grande affetto che sempre trapela per la sua città natale e l'amore con cui
rappresenta Cattolica in tutte le stagioni e negli aspetti che più valorizzano
il calore e l'identità della sua gente e il rapporto con il mare.
Immagini artistiche particolarmente suggestive perchè sempre cariche di calore
come, ad esempio, sempre calda è la luce che si riflette fra gli zampilli ed i
giochi d'acqua delle fontane vecchie e nuove.
E così i lettori di “Amando Cattolica” potranno pregustare immersioni nel nostro
mare sicuri di poter osservare i piccoli pesci, i granchi ed i mitili adagiati
sugli scogli nell'acqua trasparente, o sognare di innalzarsi in volo insieme ai
gabbiani trasportati dal vento sul freddo mare invernale per poi planare sulla
città primaverile inondata dai fiori.
A nome mio personale e dell'amministrazione comunale ringrazio l'artista e
l'uomo per aver colto con sensibilità e passione piccoli particolari e ampie
vedute che ben rappresentano la cultura e la natura caratteristiche del nostro
territorio.

Presentation
Whether the passionate photos shot from the water with the twin-hull boats moored in the quiet sunset or the pictures of the enthusiastic daily work of our fishermen, what I admire in the “photographic observations” by Antonio Barbieri is the great affection which always transpires for his home town and the love with which he depicts Cattolica in all seasons and in the aspects which bring out most the warmth and the identity of its people and their relation to the sea.
These artistic pictures are particularly fascinating because they are always loaded with warmth as much as, for example, the light that reflects itself among the jets and the water games of the old and new fountains,

So the readers of “Loving Cattolica” will be able to have a foretaste of immersions in our sea and will be sure to observe the small fishes, the crabs and the mussels lying on the cliffs in the transparent water or to dream of taking flight with the seagulls carried by the wind over the cold winter sea and then of gliding in the spring over the town flooded with flowers.
